The Malin, a network of hospitality-driven coworking spaces, has opened its first Texas location in the burgeoning neighborhood of East Austin. This marks the brand’s sixth location nationwide.
The 12,000-square-foot workspace features 24 dedicated desks, 12 phone booths, 10 private offices, four meeting rooms, two libraries, and ample shared workspace for members.
Crafted with the same attention to detail as its other clubs, The Malin East Austin offers an array of spaces to suit various work styles—from private boardrooms for meetings to lush, quiet zones for deep focus, and warm communal tables for collaboration.
Housed in a sleek, modernist building designed by local architectural firm Chioco, The Malin East Austin is bedecked with luxurious elements—from solid oak desks with poured crystal dividers to plush materials and commissioned artwork—all crafted to support a high standard of productivity and comfort, while elevating the space.
“We’re looking forward to serving the vibrant professional community of East Austin and beyond,” says Ciarán McGuigan, CEO and founder of The Malin. “As a resource for Austin’s workforce, our aim is to provide a workspace that is as dynamic as the multi-faceted city itself, supporting and inspiring their most ambitious professionals.”
The Malin East Austin joins existing locations in New York (SoHo, Williamsburg, and West Village) and Nashville (Wedgewood Houston and South Gulch).
